Lou Fenech returns to the UKPHA Bookclub to present another captivating talk that will focus on Guru Gobind Singh’s Darbar (Divine Court).

Louis E. Fenech is Professor of History at the University of Northern Iowa. Dr Fenech’s special expertise lies in the field of Punjabi and Sikh Studies. His publications include six books, the most recent of which is The Cherished Five in Sikh History, which regards a group within Sikh tradition known as the Panj Piare, the first five Sikh disciples who form the nucleus of the Sikh martial community known as the Khalsa.
Lou Fenech returns to the UKPHA Bookclub to present another captivating talk, which will focus on Guru Gobind Singh’s Darbar (Divine Court). From a comparatively simple following which gathered around Guru Nanak to the celebrated Darbar of Guru Gobind Singh, he will illustrate the development of the Darbar. He will focus on the documentary evidence, such as the Zafar-Namah ('Epistle of Victory’).
